Half-Pint Daycare & Preschool, LLC

Half-Pint's preschool program is designed to have your toddler/preschooler kindergarten ready.  We will not only be learning the basics such as the alphabet, numbers and counting, shapes, color, math, science, reading, crafts, etc., we will also learn basic spanish words and short phrases, alphabet sign language, working as a team and much more.  Here is a break down of a basic preschool day.  Not every day is the same as we do weekly field trips and vary off schedule from time to time, but this gives you a general idea of what we do during a typical day during the school year.

7:00 – 8:30 a.m. –             breakfast up until 8:30a.m.

8:50 a.m. –                      we load the bus and take older kids to school

9:30 a.m. –                      we begin our preschool day

10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. -   snack time

10:35 a.m. -                     finish up with preschool work, crafts or field trip

11:00 a.m. -                     read stories

11:30 a.m. -                      lunch preparation (free play during this time)

12:00 p.m. -                     lunch time

12:30p.m. -                     (take kindergarten to school

3:15 p.m. -                      pick up school kids

4:00 p.m. -                      snack, homework and then free play until parents arrive

Rest assure that my preschool program more than meets the State standards for early childhood learning.  Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday.  Morning drop off times are flexible, but I close up sharp at 6:00p.m.  Drop off and pick up times must be approved ahead of time. I also take before and after school kids to school.  My summer program is a lot more relaxed than during the school year.  We spend a lot of time outside during the summer month (on the nice days, of course).   We also do craft activities, projects, field trips, games, etc.   My daycare is full of different activities for ages 3-12 years.

This is my niece. She is not in daycare, but isn't she cute!! hee hee
